Strategic app design
As a designer, I embraced the challenge of creating a digital product aimed at strengthening social connections and expanding users' social circles. This led to the development of Loopsy, an application designed to streamline the process of discovering, coordinating, and booking group activities, all while supporting local businesses. Loopsy simplifies social planning, reducing the effort required for users to engage in meaningful, shared experiences.

Leading Product Design of emerging technologies

Self sovereign identity (SSI) is a concept that brings digital identity ownership back to the people. Its principles lead to a more ethical identity handling practices in the physical and digital world.

During my time at IOG, I was responsible for UX practices implementation, new product design and user research for their Layer 2 identity solution, Atala PRISM. I have carried out design and strategic work towards exploration of SSI product implementations across variety of industries and demographics. I lead designing usability patterns, personas and products.
Building communities and ecosystems was one of our primary focuses, and with it came the need to develop training for this emerging technology. As part of PRISM educational program, I wrote a UX Design module called "Human-centric Design for Decentralized Identity" which intriduces students to a variety of design methods and concepts that help understanding this industry from design perspective.

Design research at LEGO Group
This project benefits from the
co-creation in design research approach. I implemented research methods known from social science to investigate which area of work culture can be improved and then applied creative problem solving and concept development to propose a solution.
Lack of social cues and real-time feedback during virtual meetings leads to communication friction, fatigue and social and organisational disconnection. The concept developed is strengthening social connections through social quality support of social connections and collaboration improvement.

The process consisted of 6 main stages:
-
exploratory inquiry
-
challenge framing
-
challenge exploration
-
challenge reframing
-
concept development
-
prototyping
The outcome is a digital product concept, co-designed and iterated together with the employees during online workshops. It was co-created through the use of dialogue tools and methods, such as scenarios, were used to increase users involvement in the design process.

design process
Njord.green
Process varies depending on the type of projects and stakeholder needs. In this case, it was twofold.
First stage of the process included: qualitative and quantitative research, challenge framing, challenge exploration, ideation, and co-creation workshops
Second stage included prototyping, Adobe XD, Figma Design iteration cycles and testing.
Finally, I assisted Njord in finding and delivering the project to a programming agency.
